3 Year Flame formed in 2001. A couple of the guys used to play in bar bands together back before they were saved. After not seeing or talking for years, one of them contacted the other out of the blue. Turns out they were both serving on their church's praise and worship team. They got together and brought a few friends along. Out of that initial get-together, the ministry of 3YF was formed. But why the name of 3 Year Flame? Isaiah 10:17 says "....the light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One a flame." Jesus' ministry while he walked the earth was about 3 years. We as Christians continue to carry that flame.
